Welcome at Café Luxembourg
At the end of the eighties, when Luxembourg openened, the Grand Café instantaneously became one of the few really famous venues of Amsterdam
Everyone who lives in the city but also its many visitors know Luxembourg, either through one of the many guides that have labelled it a “must see” or, even better, by coincidence. Because it is hard to avoid the café. A stylish oasis at one of the busiest spots of the city. The unique “Parisian” terrace that makes “people watching” almost an understatement.
A warm welcome to everyone!

“Un grand café brun par excellence” – Le Figaro
“Spacious, elegant and unhurried” – The Independant

The Brasserie, serving a stylish breakfast, lunch and dinner, is also a stronghold for simplicity and tradition. Have an afternoon beer here, enjoy the world famous prawn croquettes or the (officially) best veal “bitterballs” of the city.
It is possible to have breakfast with groups, lunch, drinks, dinner or party at Café Luxembourg. For large groups we can reserve an area of the café. A lot is possible!
Here are some examples of possibilities for groups we have to offer (sorry, in Dutch).
